Please ask for clarification if you have any questions about this agreement. To the best of my knowledge this
puppy is healthy at the time of delivery. Buyer has two working days to have the puppy checked by a
licensed veterinarian. Failing to do so voids this health guarantee. If the veterinarian finds the puppy has a
life threatening genetic defect, it can be returned within the two day period along with all paperwork and a
letter from the vet stating in what respect the puppy is unsound. This will be done at the buyer’s expense.
The paperwork must include a contact number for the examining vet. The buyer must contact the breeder
immediately upon discovery of a genetic defect. Any delay in doing so voids this contract. At this time,
breeder has the right to have the puppy examined by her vet. If the breeder’s vet agrees with the diagnosis, a
replacement puppy of equal or greater value will be provided to the buyer. No cash refunds will be given.
Breeder will not replace puppy for any reason but not limited landlord’s disapproval, family disagreement or
any other problem not related to health. Nor for a puppy’s illness caused by neglect, exposure to weather,
injury, choking, poisoning, etc. No warranty is made to the disposition, life span, size, color, show quality, or
breeding quality of any puppy. Breeder will not be liable for any expenses including but not limited to any vet
bills or other expenses. Retained testecals and hernias are excluded from this guarantee. No replacements
will be given for a deceased puppy until an autopsy is performed to determine cause of death. Such
autopsies must be performed by an accredited institution set up for such procedures such as Texas A & M.
Autopsies by a local veterinarian will not be accepted. All expenses will be paid for by buyer. This guarantee
is null and void upon any evidence of neglect, abuse, or if buyer fails to complete vaccinations, wormings,
and vet checks with a qualified veterinarian. Proof of such maintenance must be provided at breeder’s
request. No guarantee is given for any kind of worm, coccidiosis, or giardia. These parasites are all too
common in young puppies and can be contracted from your soil or boarding facility. Your puppy has been
wormed frequently since two weeks of age until your possession. It is your responsibility to continue to
worm your puppy and check for parasites. Your puppy should be wormed every two weeks until it is placed
on a monthly heartworm preventative. (Required) No guarantee is given for Hypoglycemia. It is not
hereditary and is completely preventable. If you do not understand this condition, please ask about it. This
guarantee is non-transferable. Vaccinations must be given no less than three weeks apart, and no more than
four weeks apart for a series of three. Rabies vaccinations must not be given before sixteen weeks of age. If
you allow your vet to give these vaccinations too early, your guarantee is void. This puppy has been
vaccinated for parvo, parainfluenza, hepatitus, and distemper on________________________. I sincerely
hope that you and your puppy will have a long happy life together. My goal is to produce healthy, quality
pets. If at any time you cannot take care of your dog, you agree to call me. I will take it back or assist you in
finding an appropriate home. By signing this agreement you agree to NEVER take this puppy to a pound or
shelter. You agree to give me, the breeder, first choice at taking back ownership of said dog. I, AS THE
BUYER, HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THE ABOVE GUARANTEE. This contract is good for
one year from the purchase date.
